Some down time.....

Hi Everyone, At Sweet Boutique, we are taking a little breather before we start working on the next major holiday. Time to take a breath, clear our minds, take time to relax, and visit with our customers. We have many items on sale, which will make room for the new items that will be coming in soon for Easter. Come by for a visit, we would love to see you.

OK, Let's go!

Today was the last day for creating........from tomorrow through Thursday night it will be strictly taking care of customers. We will be filling special boxes of chocolates, dipping stemmed strawberries to order and for walk-ins, and just making sure that everyone is taken care of.

This is the front table that you see when you enter the store. Lots of foiled milk chocolate red & pink roses, chocolate covered pretzels, Oreos, plush bears, novelty chocolates, and more.

This is a little stack of tables at the end of the chocolate case, featuring one of our Valentine's Day gift baskets, a large chocolate kiss, cinnamon hearts, and chocolate covered Oreo cookies. Yum!

We have these faux candies hanging from the ceiling. The kids love them and they are usually the first ones to notice them. Or maybe they are just more vocal about them than the adults. I had a customer buy two of them last Christmas. She was buying them for her Mom and sister and she tucked a $100 dollar bill in the one for Mom and $50.00 in the one for her sister. She said they really loved them and hung them in their home. I made them from styrofoam, painted them, wrapped them in cellophane, and added some ribbons. Aren't they cute? These are the ones above the side window..........

These are above the front window..........

And further back in the store........

These add to the ambiance and atmosphere of fun and whimsy at Sweet Boutique.

Oh, I have to tell you that our new website is up and running. The address is: http://www.sweetboutiqueframingham.com/. We would love to have you visit our site. Thanks and feel free to leave a comment, if you so choose.

Some goodies from the shop

I wanted to show some of the chocolate we mold at Sweet Boutique~~~~

We mold these chocolate heart boxes in milk, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and pink chocolate and then we fill them with truffles and molded chocolates.

This is the pink one.

These are oreo cookies molded into chocolate.

A tennis racket with foil wrapped milk chocolate tennis balls...........

Golf bags with some foil wrapped milk chocolate golf balls. Everyone loves these.

It was a very good day today. Lots of traffic in and out of the shop with lots of customers buying Valentine's Day candy for their loved ones. This is so much fun!

Here it Comes!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner! I am amazed how fast the time flies by when you are fully engaged in getting ready for a holiday! These are the shelves above our main work area. The heart boxes are showing the sizes, prices and availability of the boxes. The heart boxes are filled with fine quality chocolate truffles that are so wonderful. The store is looking fuller every day and we're almost ready. Soon the customers will be converging of the little place like ants to a picnic! I look forward to the hustle and bustle. We make chocolate covered stemmed strawberries the day before and the day of Valentine's Day, so it makes it quite hectic, but I think we handle it well.

Our Storefront

This is a pic of the Sweet Boutique storefront.
This is the side window of the store.

Inside of the store is bright and sunny most of the time. Today the weather was very gloomy and it started to sleet about 12:00. It changed to rain about 30 minutes later and was steady rain the rest of the time I was there. Today I made some Sweet Scribbles, which is toffee popcorn, Kopper's Milkies, broken pretzels and it is all drizzled with three kinds of chocolate. Yummy! Then I made some dark chocolate and milk chocolate covered graham crackers. These are so good. We call them "Fudgie Grahams" and they are a favorite of our landlady! We also filled about a dozen Valentine Heart Boxes with chocolate truffles. It's fun getting ready for the big day!
